And besides, I was not being a hypocrite. The other guy wasn't letting it go either, so why did you target me? Next time try not to be an a*shole and don't assume that I always have to be right.

You don't know me well enough to judge me. I don't always have to be right, but I have a cerain thing for hypocrites, so I get angry when I am wrongly accused of being one.

I don't think you'd break it, but 80mm rides better to a lot of people. I wouldn't want a 100mm fork is all.

I will honestly never feel unsafe there. The images portrayed by the media are not the reality. The images are glorified and only show the worst. For the most part, it was quiet while I was there. I guess that is a relief though. It is simply one less thing to worry about. However, when relaxing on the beach with my friends in the air force, tank division/infantry, navy, and paratrooper units, there were always routine flights of F16-I fighters, normally four at a time patrolling the area. Also, there were some helicopters. However, once you are there, you quickly get used to it and it doesn't become that big of a deal. I love Israel and will be there next year.

Almost everyone in Israel carries a weapon. Even the rent a cop security guards there have pistols or revolvers and all the soldiers have M16s or other automatic weapons. In addition to that, the armored car drivers carry Uzis. Therefore, guns are never too far away to protect us. When stuff goes wrong, the police and army are called in to secure the site before we go in. I always felt very safe and never had a doubt about anything.

I was in an ambulance most of the time. However, I know that there is a program where you can be a field medic but that requires very intensive training.

laurie1 wrote

Nope. This wasn't a riding trip. This was a trip to go and see my friends that were finishing up their stints in the army over there and a chance for me to volunteer as a medic. However, next year, I think I will bring the bike as I scoped out a lot of riding locations.

But we're both hooked up to 2 tv's and the sad truth about Chuck Norris is, he's not very good at Guitar Hero. So whenever he challenges someone, he just kicks them into the tv and instantly wins. But if we're hooked up to two tv's and 1 is hidden, then I will win because one tv will show the TRUE score.

Yes, but that's where my wittiness comes in. I would secretly be playing on two different tv's so when he thinks he won I'll sectretly be the winner.
